Solar Generator Philippines: Pairing an EcoFlow Power Station With a Solar Panel

A solar generator is simply a portable power station paired with a solar panel. The power station stores energy and runs your appliances, and the panel refills it from the sun, so you are not stuck waiting for the grid to come back during a long brownout or a typhoon outage. This guide explains how the pairing works and which EcoFlow combos we carry in the Philippines.

Why add a solar panel to your power station?

  • Longer brownouts: a power station alone runs until its battery is empty. With a panel, you can recharge during the day and keep going.
  • No fuel, no fumes: unlike a gas generator, a solar setup is quiet and safe to use indoors (the panel stays outside in the sun).
  • Off-grid trips: camping, beach trips, and farm or resort stays where there is no outlet nearby.
  • Typhoon readiness: power lines can stay down for days after a storm. Sunlight usually returns long before the grid does.

How much can a 110W panel recharge?

A 110W panel produces up to 110W in ideal, direct sun, and usually less in real conditions because of clouds, heat, shade, and the angle of the panel. Here is simple example math, not a guarantee: if the panel averages about half its rating over 5 hours of good sun, that is 55W x 5 hours, or about 275Wh in a day.

That is roughly enough to refill a RIVER 3 (245Wh), or to put back a good share of a DELTA 3 1000 Air (960Wh) while you keep using it. Bigger stations benefit from more panels, which is why our DELTA 3 2000 Air bundle includes two.

Tips for better solar charging: face the panel toward the sun, avoid shade from trees and roofs, adjust the angle during the day, and keep the panel surface clean.

EcoFlow solar bundles we carry

Every power station below comes in a "With solar panel" option. Each EcoFlow 110W bifacial solar panel is ₱9,900 on its own, but only ₱7,500 more when bundled with a power station.

About the EcoFlow 110W bifacial panel

The panel is bifacial, which means it can capture light on both sides. It weighs about 7kg, folds up for carrying, has a built-in XT60 cable that connects straight to EcoFlow stations, and comes with an adjustable stand with a solar angle guide. See the full panel details.

Which combo should you pick?
